A simple winter workout program
The weather’s starting to turn colder and I bet all you want to do when you get home is cuddle up on the sofa and watch TV. However, it’s more important than ever to make sure your workout program doesn’t fall by the wayside if you want to keep fit and healthy throughout the winter months.
Simply get walking. Walking I hear you protest! Come on girls, we can all find just fifteen minutes a day to put one foot in front of the other and walk. And research has shown that’s all it takes to keep your heart and your bones healthy. Fifteen minutes a day. Of course you need to walk at a decent pace, strolling around the shops doesn’t count! Wear a decent supportive pair of shoes or boots, wrap up well and walk at a pace where you could just about hold a conversation.
There’s nothing better than a quick walk in the cold, crisp fresh air, to leave your eyes sparkling and your cheeks glowing!
